Apollo Palace

Four muses above the old City Café

Palatul Apollo

The last work of Kálmán Rimanóczy Jr., who died in 1912 while it was being built, the Apollo Palace was completed in 1914 as a rental building commissioned by the city itself. Four allegorical statues, Music, Literature, Architecture and Painting, crown its façade above what was once the elegant City Café.
