Moskovits Miksa Palace

Turquoise lilies and Oradea's first reinforced concrete

Palatul Moskovits Miksa

Built in 1904–1905 for engineer Miksa Moskovits, this corner palace is one of the most photographed Secession façades in Oradea, covered in long-stemmed floral ornament in the Munich 'Lilienstil'. It was also the first building in the city to use Hennebique-type reinforced concrete slabs.
